It’s not often I really set out to go and do some major damage to the old bank balance but over the past couple of days that’s what I’ve done and I feel totally un-guilty about it!!!

So I thought I’d share some of the things I have bought with you.

So this is the first part of my haul.

To start with non-make up related products – Umberto Giannini Salon Straight Blow Dry Cream. I’ve tried many different products for my hair but this one wins hands down when it comes to helping my hair be less frizzy and keep the poker straight-ness that I’m liking at the moment.
Then there is Good Things Stop that Spot Clearing Gel. I’ve suddenly started coming out with spots on my face and wanted something that was more natural and less chemical. I’ve not used this before so I’ll have to wait and see if it actually helps.

So I got Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Makeup Corrector Pen because I like the concept and figured I’d give it a try. If I’m doing a smokey winged-out eye I like to have a crisp line and I’m hoping that this will help me achieve that.
Then I got MaxFactor Liquid Effect Pencil in Black Fire. I saw this on a YouTube video that you can find HERE (I love Kandee by the way, she is awesome, check her out). The eyeliner is really soft and creamy and smudges out really nicely. It also has a slanted squidgy bit on the end of it so that you can get the perfect winged eyeliner that is going to be in this season.
There’s L’Oreal Paris Colour Infallible Eyeshadow in Purple Obsession. I have the silver one of this and think it is great. It lasts a long time and is really pigmented. I love purple so I’m hoping that this one will be gorgeous when it’s on.
And finally for the eyes, there’s L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes in Extra Black. I’ve read so many good reviews about this mascara that I figured I’d finally check it out. Fingers crossed.

This was kind of an impulse buy. I’m not overly comfortable on finding the right shade of foundation so I tend to get brands where I can have a MUA sort me out the right one. But I was intrigued about this one (and I liked the squirly pattern the foundation is in). I was intrigued mainly because it’s supposed to be age defying with DNA advantage. I’m not entirely sure what the DNA advantage is but I’ll try and figure it out!!

I was suckered in with a 3 for 2 deal on the Maybelline Lipstain which is my excuse for having bought three of them!!! They are, from left to right, Shy Red, Plum Flushed and Blushing. I swatched them on my hand (ooh look at me swatching things!). They are from top to bottom, Blushing, Plum Flushed and Shy Red. I can’t wait to give these a go. I’ve read somewhere that these are more moisturising than normal lipstains which is a problem with the normal ones.

Models Own (check out their website HERE) had a half price sale on so I figured I’d get some more of their nail varnishes. I have a few shades already and they are very good quality and long-lasting.

(Sorry about the crappy photo quality!)
The colours are:
Top Row – Left to Right – Prussian Blue, In The Navy, Purple Mystique, Red Alert
Bottom Row – Left to Right – Purple Passion, Magenta Pearl, Buff Pink, Purple Grey

So that is my major haul from the past couple of days. And now I’m off to finish watching Pretty Little Liars (great episode so far) and get something nice to eat.
